I can put a title?!

A very short post. Of course it has to do with the fact that the weather has effectively frozen off my little fingertips, so I am actually painstakingly typing this out using a combination of my little toes and elbows.

REALLY!!! I wuz cheated - as they say, since the first week of balmy 15-20 degree days have suddenly reverted into Ice-landic 4-8 degree days. Brrrrr!!! I'll do anything to feel that icky bit of heat-induced sweat roll down my face. Sigh.

2 things to report. One of extreme domesticity and the other of extreme WTF-ness.

1) I MADE PANEER YESTERDAY! - And before you casually brush it off with the 'I made Chicken Teriyaki with Satay Sauce yesterday' ... I M-A-D-E panner. As in bought the milk, added the lemon juice, poured it into the muslin cloth, did the jiggly-wiggly etc etc. And you have to give credit where its due to someone who thought that paneer fell out of cows. And before you think I let the story incomplete, I made Paneer Mutter, it was ridiculously tasty and today both our stomachs are as fit as gastric fiddles can be.

2) RESTARTED AN OLD HOBBY - I always had an unindulged thing for jigsaw puzzles (the only evidence for the same is a fairly large 1800 piece puzzle framed at my Dubai house), so I went ahead and got myself a beautiful Jan Van Haasteren. He's a sweet Holland-er who makes jigsaw puzzles for a living, and is supposedly fairly popular the world over. See http://old.jumbo.eu/gb/specials/janvanhaasteren/
So I am currently working on 'The Park', a mammoth 3000-piece beauty. I hope to finish it in good time - which should be another 2 months or so at best.

I am now approx 80 pieces in - so its a slow but confident start. Will keep you guys updated.

Cheerio
Sush
